Labor Day

Labor Day in Ecuador
In Ecuador as with many other countries, political movements and workers made peaceful marches the first of May carrying banners allusive to date.
On this date not all rest or attend marches, because many jobs can not be suspended for being vital to the functioning of society. Several people prefer not rest to earn more money. This is the case in countries like Ecuador called third world. Because without work would affect the fragile economy of workers.

Labor Day in Japan
First of May is one of the dates that most countries in the world celebrates Labor Day. But Japan is not officially designated by the Japanese government as a national holiday.
In Japan this date is not a national holiday, but it is a rest day for many Japanese workers. Many employers give a rest day so workers take it as "paid vacation".

Origin

The International Workers' Day is a celebration of the international labor movement. It is a journey that has been used for various social and labor demands.

It is a day of struggle and tribute to the Martyrs of Chicago. These anarcho-syndicalists were executed in the United States for its participation in the days of struggle for the achievement of the working day of eight hours, which originated in the strike started the first of May on 1886 and three days later, on 4 May at the Haymarket Riot.

Today it is a protest party of the rights of workers in general, and is celebrated in many countries.
